Bought this as my second serious toy to date. It is thinner than I thought it would be but that turned out to be a plus for what I wanted it for. No weird smell when I opened the package though it went straight into being washed with soap and water so that might be a factor.

I would caution riding it in a vertical position, it is LONG, very long. Horizontal use is much safer and easy with the length. The ridges, or veins, add a lot, at least for anal. I can't comment on vaginal use. We don't mix toy holes. Normal condoms work fine, but probably won't reach the balls. It is easy to clean and is holding up well.This is a great toy for a strap-on.
