Luckily, the outside material is on the softer side making this enormous size a bit more manageable. The suction cup is a good size and strength to hold the toy up without being too floppy. It does work to suction on a vertical surface but the weight of the toy pulls it down slightly so it is not necessarily drooping but not completely at a right angle.
